Ecomondo 2008

Ecomondo 2008 is about to start. Here you will be able to find the broadest variety of technological opportunities, equipment and services to solve complex and specific environmental problems.
Unistara will be attending Ecomondo from the 5th to the 8th November 2008 with german Lobbe to show a new technology for the demolition and re-building of refractory lining in the waste incineration sector.

Tecnargilla 2008

In Rimini, Tecnargilla just succesfully concluded: it had about 700 exhibitors of which over a third foreign.
Unistara, together with Unifrax, introduced its avant-garde solutions for the realization of kiln-cars for tile and bricks and suspended roof.
Among Unifrax products the new products of Fibermax line in polycristalline fiber and Fraxpump for the applying of all the pumpable or injectable products as Fiberfrax, Insulfrax and Isofrax.

Seminar: Refractory linings for the petrochemical industry

On March 15th and 16th at the Miramare Hotel located in Santa Magherita Ligure (Genova) there will be a seminar entitled “Refractory lings for the Petrochemical industry”. In this occasion Unistara will present new services offered for the petrochemical industry of which will also be discussed the Unistara Consortium. Set up in December 2006, the Consortium desires to be the only interlocutor that is capable of responding to customer requirements quickly and offering flexibility that characterize this sector and the incineration sector. New branches with warehouses at Flero (BS) and Barberino di Mugello (FI)

Address change even for two Unistara branches.
From October 10th the Brescia branch has moved street number and is located at Via Marconi 3 situated in Flero.

Unistara head office moves to a new location

Starting from August 28th the head office of Unistara S.p.A located in Genoa will be changing location. The new offices are still located at Piazza R. Rossetti, but the street number has changed to 3 instead of 3b. The telephone and fax numbers will remain the same. The new and prestigious head office, with more than 900 square meters, will include the Commercial and Accounting and Technical Departments.

Certification UNI EN ISO 9001:2000

The quality system of Unistara has obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 certification. "Design, distribution and installation of: refractory and insulating products and linings for industry and the building sector; chimney pipe systems for the evacuation of flue gases. Refractory mortars and prefabricated shapes production and sale. Design and construction of industrial furnaces, heat treatment and incineration plants." Progetto Fuoco - Exhibition of Verona 16-19 March 2006

This year Unistara will once again participate in the international exhibition of plants and materials for wood fired heating. Amongst the principal new innovations displayed at our stand situated at pavilion N° 2, are the new STV refractory products characterized by a high content of alumina and a low porosity. Many products will be presented such as steel flue pipes and much emphasis will be given to the line of Termokamin products. Termokamin are stainless steel chimney pipes with double layered insulation and during 2005 obtained the CE norm certification.
